LGCC is currently hiring for all positions with very flexible hours. There is a wide variety of opportunities for everyone from high school students to retired individuals. Most positions will have fluctuating hours depending on the number and size of the groups staying at LGCC. Employment at LGCC is a great opportunity for individuals that might be looking for supplemental income or intermittent work to bring in some extra spending cash.

We will also be hiring key people for housekeeping, Java, and kitchen staff. Full and part-time seasonal positions available. As summer approaches we increase our hiring of part-time and full-time seasonal positions, so hurry and apply to receive the most flexible schedule! Houskeeping

Housekeeping is looking for individuals who enjoy cleaning, are detail minded and dependable. Our housekeeping staff cleans a variety of different types of housing from deluxe cottages and rustic cabins, meeting areas and bathrooms. ‘Team’ is essential at LGCC, with the majority of shifts being worked in pairs.

Hours: FT Seasonal, PT Seasonal, and As-Needed positions are available. Hours vary depending on the needs of the groups.

Kitchen

Professional and friendly attitude towards visitors is a requirement. Training will be provided for kitchen equipment including instructions for operating the industrial floor scrubber. Working in the LGCC kitchen will provide opportunity for advancement through learning different job duties within a kitchen; such as salad bar prep, running food lines, industrial dish washing and cooking. Staff must be able to be on their feet for certain amounts of time. Mopping, sweeping, lifting and cleaning involved. 95% of the time you will be working with a co-worker. Flexible hours.

Recreation

Rock wall – We are looking for individuals interested in working our rock wall; including belay and harnessing.

Lifeguards – We are also looking for certified lifeguards. If you are not certified but interested in becoming certified contact LGCC for reimbursement requirements.

Geneva Java

Learn to make hand-crafted specialty drinks, smoothies and coffee shop goodies, in a fun uplifting work environment where ‘team’ is essential. Skills in customer service are required. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, think on your feet and be reliable as well as responsible.

Hours: hours are flexible. FT Seasonal, PT Seasonal, and As-Needed positions are available

If you are seeking employment at LGCC for the first time you will only need to complete the Job Application. Returning seasonal employees will also need to complete the Job Application, as well as an updated W-4. If you are returning and have recently turned 18 or will turn 18 by August 31st you will need to complete the Background Check.
